Good morning all,
Lisa here, just a normal day here at THE LANE (Whites Lane). Beautiful sunny, not too hot first day of school for Lexington. We have done our normal morning checks and chores (feeding, pills, filling waterers) and found a swollen foot on a boarder horse which will be checked later and has been treated with a bit of Bute and a hot sweaty rescue horse which has been checked out and must have been running around. She is fine now and will be checked later as well as the foot guy.
I came in this morning to see of one of our barn kitties (Roofy) because he stays in the rafters most of the time, out playing with our recently hauled in mini mule, Juan Festus. Juan Festus got his name which is kinda odd because he came in as "Juan" and then a member wanted to name him "Festus" so we compromised and call him "Juan Festus." Its fun to see how animals can introduce themselves and play with each other no matter how large or small.
That's it for now, cheers.
